On the Monday following Inventor's Day in 2017, we launched a real-time job shadowing of multiple women in science and technical roles shot on Snapchat at US GE & partner facilities. The stories highlighted the workdays of various women in STEM at GE facilities, partners and customers telling their story and offering advice to younger women.

Emojis shouldn’t be made for reality stars, but for women who create a better reality.

Launched on March 1st in honor of International Women’s History Month, we brought science & technology into the most intimate space we have access to: messaging.

Hashtags shouldn’t be for fangirling or fitness trends, but for women who make fan blades and metal bend. GE created a portrait series on its owned channels flipping various common hashtags to now highlight women in STEM.
